The first 36 colors in the range were developed in cooperation with George Kruth, a world-class wildlife artist known for his ability to handle the airbrush. The colors in the range were created specifically for wildlife carvers and artists but have many applications. These paints represent the finest in co-polymer technology. The unique formulation actually holds more pigment in suspension than any other airbrush paint. By packing in more pigment, Chroma has produced a paint rich in color and opacity. These are acrylic based paints. They dry virtually on contact to form a tough, opaque layer of water resistant color. They're completely intermixable with Jo Sonja's acrylic gouache and mediums for custom blends. Chroma airbrush colors are pre-mixed and ready to dispense into your airbrush. Each color comes in a 2 ounce (60ml) squeeze bottle with a flip-top needle spout. These paints are perfect for all applications on wood, metal, finger nails, textile (with the addition of a textile medium for permanence), illustration board and all paintable surfaces.
